Stainless Steel Braided PTFE Hose | SAE 100R14 High Temperature Chemical Hose
Stainless steel braided PTFE hose (SAE 100R14) with PTFE tube and AISI 304 wire braid. -55 C to +210 C, chemical and high temperature resistant for fuels, solvents and hot oil. Custom assemblies. MOQ 10 pcs.
Stainless Steel Braided PTFE Hose — Product Overview
Our stainless steel braided PTFE hose (also called PTFE lined hose or SAE 100R14 PTFE hose) combines a smooth-bore PTFE inner tube with a single braid of AISI 304 stainless steel wire. The result is a chemical resistant, high temperature hose that handles aggressive acids, solvents, fuels, and hot oils where rubber hose would fail. Available with smooth bore or convoluted tube, and supplied as bulk hose or made-up PTFE hose assemblies with crimped fittings. MOQ: 10 pcs.
Technical Specifications

| Standard Length | Custom cut lengths and made-up assemblies |
Application Scenarios
- Chemical transfer: aggressive acids, solvents, and corrosive media in process plants.
- High temperature lines: hot oil, steam condensate, and thermal fluid transfer.
- Fuel & oil systems: petrol, diesel, and hydraulic oil lines where permeation matters.
- Food & pharmaceutical: non-contaminating transfer of sensitive fluids.
- Automotive & motorsport: brake lines, clutch lines, and turbo oil feed.
- Paint & coating: solvent-based paint spray and fluid handling.
Key Features & Benefits
- Extreme temperature range: -55 °C to +210 °C — far beyond rubber hose limits.
- Universal chemical resistance: PTFE is inert to nearly all industrial chemicals.
- Stainless steel braid: AISI 304 wire raises pressure rating and resists abrasion and corrosion.
- Non-stick & non-contaminating: low friction bore keeps flow clean and easy to flush.
- Long service life: PTFE does not age, harden, or degrade like rubber.
Customization & OEM Service
We supply OEM and private-label PTFE hose assemblies with custom inner diameter, length, braid material (stainless steel or nylon), and crimped end fittings to your drawing. Every assembly is pressure-tested before export. Quotations returned within 24 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: PTFE hose vs rubber hose — which should I choose?
A: Choose PTFE for aggressive chemicals, temperatures above +120 °C, or where contamination must be avoided. Rubber remains the economical choice for standard hydraulic oil and water duty.
Q: Do you supply made-up hose assemblies with fittings?
A: Yes — we crimp JIC, BSP, NPT, and metric fittings to your required length and pressure-test each assembly.
Q: Smooth bore or convoluted — what is the difference?
A: Smooth bore gives maximum flow and easier cleaning; convoluted (corrugated) tube is far more flexible and kink-resistant in tight routing.
Q: What is the MOQ?
A: 10 pcs for standard sizes and assemblies; custom specs quoted separately.
