KC Nipple
Designed to facilitate secure connections between hoses and pipelines, KC Nipples are essential components in a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing.
KC Nipple Supplier from China
The KC Nipple is a Japanese-standard hose coupling widely used across Asia-Pacific for connecting rubber and PVC hose in air, water, steam and light chemical service.
It consists of a male nipple with a matching female coupler locked by two lugs, giving a fast, tool-free connection that is more secure than a plain hose tail.

Key Features
- Two-lug bayonet lock connects and disconnects in seconds without tools.
- Deep hose tail with multiple barbs gives a strong grip when used with a hose clamp or ferrule.
- Brass, stainless and plated steel options cover air, water, steam and mild chemical duty.
- Standardised dimensions interchange with other KC-series couplings already in service.
- Precision-machined sealing face with gasket seat prevents weeping at the joint.
- Available as hose-to-hose, hose-to-thread and hose-to-flange configurations.
Application Scenarios
- Compressed air: workshop air lines, pneumatic tools and portable compressors.
- Water transfer: construction dewatering, tank filling and wash-down systems.
- Steam & hot water: brass and stainless grades for low-pressure steam cleaning.
- Agriculture: spraying equipment, slurry transfer and irrigation hose connections.
- Marine & shipyard: deck wash, bilge and general service water lines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the KC coupling interchangeable with other brands?
KC dimensions follow the common Japanese standard used across the region, so our couplings interchange with most KC-series fittings already installed. Send us a sample or drawing if you need confirmation.
Which material should I use for steam?
For steam and hot water we recommend brass or stainless steel 304 with a PTFE or high-temperature gasket; plated steel is suitable for air and cold water only.
Do I need a clamp with the hose tail?
Yes. The barbed tail should be secured with a suitable hose clamp or swaged ferrule to achieve the rated pressure and prevent blow-off.
Can you supply the coupler and nipple separately?
Yes, male nipples, female couplers and gaskets are all available separately, so you can replace worn parts without discarding the whole assembly.
